Analisis Tingkat Elastisitas Permintaan dan Penawaran Buku Tulis BMB Isi 70 di Tanjung Selamat

Abstract

This research was conducted using a qualitative approach aimed at predicting and analyzing data on the elasticity of demand and supply in Tanjung Selamat. The study was carried out in Perumahan Puri Anom Asri Block AA No. 20. The population of this research consists of notebooks sold by the store, and the sample chosen to represent this population is the BMB brand notebooks with 70 sheets. The sampling technique we used is purposive sampling, where we selected this notebook as a sample for specific purposes relevant to our research. For data collection techniques, we used documentation and interviews with the store owner. The collected data was processed and analyzed using descriptive analytical methods. The results of this study indicate that the elasticity level of the BMB 70-sheet notebooks in Tanjung Selamat tends to be inelastic, where consumers continue to purchase the notebooks even when prices are rising, especially before the new school year.
