Tamansari Village, located on the slopes of Mount Ijen, has great potential in the agricultural sector, especially in Krajan Hamlet. After the COVID-19 pandemic, farmers in this area were economically impacted due to dependence on middlemen and falling rice prices. To overcome this, the Mulyo Farmers Group collaborated with PT. Sirtanio Organik Indonesia in a partnership pattern for cultivating red rice. This mentoring program is carried out through three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Activities include technical guidance on cultivation, use of superior A2/A3 variety seeds, application of the jajar legowo planting pattern, as well as organic fertilization and pest control. The results of the mentoring show that this partnership is able to increase farmer confidence, provide higher selling value, and open up international market opportunities for organic red rice. This activity emphasizes the importance of ongoing mentoring and collaboration between farmers and agribusiness partners to increase the independence and welfare of local farmers.
