UMKM in the Samirono Village tourist area have significant economic potential, but still face challenges in increasing product competitiveness, particularly in terms of halal compliance. Halal certification is an important instrument for providing legal assurance, sharia certainty, and added economic value for business actors. This study aims to analyze the role of halal certification in increasing the economic value of UMKM products in the Samirono Village tourist area from the perspective of Islamic economic law. The research method used was qualitative with a juridical-sociological approach through interviews with UMKM actors, field observations, and documentation studies of regulations related to halal certification. The results indicate that halal certification can increase consumer trust, expand market access, and increase the selling value of UMKM products. From the perspective of Islamic economic law, halal certification is not only a normative obligation but also part of the protection of Muslim consumers and an effort to realize the public interest. The contribution of this study lies in confirming that the implementation of halal certification at the UMKM level in tourist villages can strengthen business sustainability while supporting Sharia-based economic growth.
