The development of sustainable tourism villages represents a strategic approach to promoting rural advancement while preserving local wisdom, enhancing environmental awareness, and empowering local communities. One promising approach is the synergy between Edu-Tourism and the Circular Village concept, which applies circular economy principles in resource management at the village level. Samirono Village is one example of a region with significant potential to develop both approaches. Therefore, this study is guided by the main research question: How can the potential and forms of integration between Edu-Tourism and the Circular Village concept support the development of a sustainable tourism village? This study aims to explore the local potential of Samirono Village in developing Edu-Tourism, examine relevant circular economy practices, and formulate an integrative model that aligns with the conditions and needs of the local community. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method combined with Participatory Action Research (PAR). Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews and direct observation, which are analyzed using a thematic approach to obtain comprehensive and contextual insights. The findings indicate that the integration of Edu-Tourism and Circular Village principles has the potential to generate positive economic and environmental impacts in Samirono Village. This study also highlights key challenges in the holistic implementation of these concepts and emphasizes the importance of stakeholder coordination to ensure effective implementation.
