Pengembangan Model Pengelolaan Zakat Berbasis Potensi Lokal dengan Metode ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development

Abstract

This community service initiative aimed to provide guidance on zakat management to zakat administrators in Guyangan Village, Trangkil District, Pati Regency. The initiative employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method, which comprises six stages: Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny, and Reflection. The project sought to enhance the effectiveness of zakat management by identifying local assets (Discovery), formulating community aspirations (Dream), developing an action plan (Design), establishing a framework (Define), implementing the plan (Destiny), and evaluating the impact (Reflection). The results indicate that zakat administrators and the community gained a positive understanding of zakat management. Furthermore, this initiative is expected to improve public understanding of zakat management and foster active participation toward achieving sustainable zakat management
