PENERAPAN ETIKA BISNIS ISLAM DALAM INDUSTRI PERTAMBANGAN: Efek Korupsi PT Timah dalam Keberlangsungan Anggaran Negara

Abstract

This study aims to analyze violations of business ethics and the role of maqasid sharia in the PT Timah corruption case. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature study. Data were collected through a search of relevant literature, including the Qur'an, hadith, scientific books, journals, articles, and news related to the PT Timah case. In the period from 2015 to 2022, PT Timah has committed criminal acts of corruption with state losses reaching 300 trillion rupiah. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing business ethics and the principles of maqasid sharia in corporate governance to prevent corruption and maintain sustainability. PT Timah and other companies need to improve transparency, fairness, and social responsibility in order to create healthy governance. This research is valuable because it provides a new perspective in analyzing the PT Timah corruption case using a maqasid sharia approach. This approach highlights the damage not only economically, but also to morals, justice and the sustainability of natural resource management.
